About the Journal

The journal TongDao. Revista Latinoamericana de Estudios de China Contemporánea is a biannual academic publication, whose mode of publication is open access, oriented to the study of Sino-Latin American and Caribbean relations from a multidimensional and multilevel approach from the Social Sciences within the framework of the Chair in Contemporary China project of the General Secretariat of the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (FLACSO).

THEMATIC AXES

TongDao pursues the purpose of generating original publications based on five central thematic axes:

  1. Diplomacy and Foreign Policy
  2. Environment and Climate Change
  3. Technology and Development
  4. Economics and Trade
  5. History, Society and Culture.

PERIODICITY OF PUBLICATION

  • First publication of the year: May 22 of each year.
  • Second publication of the year: November 22 of each year.
  • The reception of article proposals is continuous (all year round), in case of acceptance of the proposal the author will be notified about the issue in which his/her paper will be published.
  • TongDao has the possibility of organizing each year the publication of thematic special issues outside of its two fixed biannual publications. The publication of the special issues is subject to the direction of the editorial team and is subject to peer review.
