Publication guidelines

This periodical publication seeks to generate an encounter between thinkers, research, and topics related to Sino-Latin American relations, through a channel aimed at the continuous dissemination of the production of knowledge in this field. It intends to function as a filter of quality and ethics of research, in order to build a high-level academic-productive and academic-receptive community, which ensures a non-partisan approach to the issues that call for relations between the States involved. REQUIREMENTS FOR ARTICLE SUBMISSIONS

  1. TongDao accepts articles in Spanish, English or Portuguese.
  2. Submitted articles are received only through the journal's editorial portal operated by the Open Journal System (OJS). To submit an article, you must register in the Submissions
  3. Papers must be original and unpublished. They cannot be published in repositories, websites or blogs. They cannot be simultaneously submitted to another journal.
  4. All manuscripts must be submitted together with the Copyright Letter, which must be attached at the time of providing the attached documents for submission through OJS. The letter can be digitally signed or scanned, and must be sent in PDF format.
  5. A brief CV of the author, written in prose, of no more than 200 words, highlighting: academic titles, specialty, place of work (institutional affiliation), areas in which he/she works and positions, e-mail address, and ORCID code, must be provided for submission. FORMAL PRESENTATION OF THE TEXT

  1. Submit your proposal as an editable OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document.
  2. Letter size document and use of predetermined margins (top and bottom 2.5 cm. Left and right 3 cm.) The font to be used is Arial 12, spacing 1.5.
  3. In the case of academic articles, the maximum length of the paper is around seven thousand (7000) words or 25 pages. If the work is longer, its publication may be considered. The proposed text should not be less than 15 pages. 
  4. The only citation model accepted is APA 7th. The use of footnotes should be avoided. 
  5. Images, graphs, and tables should be presented in the text of the article in a numbered manner and with an indication of the source (in case of own elaboration, indicate it in that way).  They should be attached independently in .jpg, .png or .xlsx format, as the case may be, to maintain the graphic quality in the diagramming process.
  6. The bibliography should be placed in alphabetical order, according to APA Model 7 regulations, with French indentation. The URL of the digital documents should be indicated, without the statement “Retrieved from” or similar.
  7. In case of total plagiarism, the article will be rejected. In cases contemplated in the Plagiarism Detection System Regulations, the author will be notified so that he/she can make the corresponding correction.
    Note: Receipt of manuscripts does not tacitly presuppose their publication; to that effect, they must pass the entire editorial evaluation process.

COMPONENTS OF THE MANUSCRIPT
The following components must be submitted in Spanish, English and Portuguese. They must be present on the first page of the article with all the exposed elements.
